Position Purpose:

The Procurement Manager is responsible for securing donations of building materials, furniture, home décor, and appliances for resale in the ReStore, Habitat Lehigh Valley’s retail operations. The PLM is also responsible for securing donations of building materials for our construction and critical home repair program. For logistics, the PLM is a partner in scheduling large product donations in the community as well as coordinating with HFHI on unique donations outside of our service area.

What you need:

  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • 3 years minimum demonstrated job-related experience, preferably in sales and or non profit development.
  • Superior relationship building/management skills required.
  • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, including excellent phone skills. Cold calling experience preferred.
  • Ability to provide direction to HFHLV staff and volunteers in a positive, affirming manner.
  • Ability to lift or move objects weighing 50 pounds.
  • Existing relationships with Lehigh Valley businesses, groups, and organizations as well as a knowledge of the area.

Hiring Requirements:

  • Valid In-State Driver’s License, ability to successfully pass a drug screen, and background check.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $50,000.00 per year
